Lawrence S. Ting School operates under the program of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam. In order to foster students to become LSTS students with the qualities of Doer-Leader-Thinker, the curriculum at LSTS is organized in the direction of comprehensive development for students, focusing on core skills (through the Core Courses), broadening and deepening knowledge (through the Extension Courses), as well as personal development and career guidance (through the Development Courses).
To develop foundational skills, the Core Courses are built around four subjects: Reading & Expression, English, ICT, and Scientific Research.
The Extension Courses, based on the Ministry of Education and Training’s curriculum, include not only mandatory subjects but extension learning programs or activities built upon the required courses.
The Development Courses give students more chances to deepen knowledge, awareness and skills through various academic activities or programs, which include electives, clubs, life skills, leadership and community service, counselling, living values and character development programs, study immersion, student-initiated projects through ACES, global exchange programs under IEI and so on.
